Sunday Service - The MacGregor Fair Community Service
On June 23rd at the MacGregor Fair, we held our annual interchurch Community Service! Our speaker this year was the fantastic Rev. Elijah Mwandila, the new pastor at MacGregor United!
The Community Service is an annual event put on as a collaboration between MacGregor United Church, St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Westend Community Church, Bagot Community Chapel and us here at MacGregor EMC. I want to thank David Kruse who was a big help on sound, the United Community Choir for their lovely singing, Michael Bergen for sharing about what Valley View Bible Camp has been up to, the North Norfolk Agricultural Society for creating the space and advertising this event, the many ushers and others who I may have forgotten who helped with the different aspects of the day, as well as, of course, Myron Friesen, Michael Fehr, Tim Moore and Elijah Mwandila for all coming together to put this event on. I am thankful every day for getting to serve in this wonderful community with each of you.
