Sunday Service - Problems With the Precise Apostle Paul
/Welcome to the first Online Sunday Service of the new format. In the recording today, you will hear a reading of scripture, followed by an early version of the message that will be given tonight at the first service back for MacGregor EMC, at 7 pm. That’s right, listener, you are going to hear the message before anyone else… which may or may not be a good thing!
This Sunday, we explore Romans 6:12-23, a passage written by the Apostle Paul that has more than a few problems when read with modern eyes, but are those problems warranted given Paul’s intentions? Listen as we unpack this thought.
Future of the Online Service
This Sunday (June 28th), MacGregor EMC will begin meeting again, with socially distanced evening services (as mentioned, at 7pm with a fireside time after, weather permitting). While the plan going forward is to continue posting high quality audio recordings, for ease of recording, the change has been made to only include applicable scripture and the sermon.
However, we would like to gauge interest in expanding the online service, and perhaps even adapting it to better reach its online audience. As such, we would ask if there is anything you would like to see become a part of the online service. Simply fill in the form below to let us know.
